Throughout his over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and DRAM industries, Yukio Sakamoto has demonstrated world-class leadership in technology and strategic development. Mr. Sakamoto began his career at Texas Instruments Japan where he last served as a Vice President. He subsequently joined Kobe Steel to manage its semiconductor division. Mr. Sakamoto also previously served as President and Representative Director of UMC Japan, as well as President, Representative Director, and CEO of Elpida Memory.
